I have researched prices of magazines and they tend to be around the £3 mark. I will price my magazine at £2.99 because it is a marketing trick which makes it sound a lot cheaper and tempts people more into to buying products that end with 99. I researched this marketing trick and people associate products ending with 99 with discounts and special offers so they are more likely to but it. Researchers in France found that a pizza which was lowered from €8 to €7.99 caused sales to rise by around 15% so it shows that this trick works.
